Vapormatic has again provided thousands of pounds of parts to support the Bicton Overseas Agricultural Trust tractor rebuild, which took place last month.
Each year BOAT (find out more about their work here) undertakes a tractor rebuild, which is then raffled to raise funds to support their work. This year students from Bicton College rebuilt an International Harvester 434 over 3 days at the Devon County Show (19-21 May).

Built between 1966 and 1971, Vapormatic provides a wide range of replacement parts suitable for the IH434 and the college was provided with over 120 different products for the rebuild including:
Cylinder rebuild kit (VPB9152)
Cylinder head (VPA3048)
Paint, primers and varnish
Hydraulic pump (VPK1025)
Main bearings (VPC8020)

Despite only having 3 days to complete the entire rebuild, the project went without any significant issues and the tractor was completed in time to be driven around the shows parade ring on the third day.

The machine will now undergo a full respray with Vapormatic paint before it travels to shows across the country to raise funds for the charity.
