John Bownes Ltd Take the High Road

Vapormatic stockists John Bownes Ltd are finally back on home territory after their 1300 mile round trip to the Isle of Skye. Sponsored by Vapormatic, the team comprising of Phil Moston, Richard Langley and Dave Harrison made the journey on three vintage tractors, a Massey Ferguson 185; Roadless Ploughmaster 75; and a Nuffield Universal P6 in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Vapormatic donated the parts required before the long journey north on the 14^th May 2009. Their route took them from their base in Winsford in Cheshire to the Isle of Skye in two and a half days and with the Vapormatic parts fitted to the three tractors, the journey was problem free. Along the way, people were extremely generous to donate to Marie Curie and on returning home, the team were able to donate £1500 to the charity.
